As a care provider subscribing to Preferr you will submit referral requests for your patients to any provider that is also a Preferr subscriber. The integration with current patient databases is optional as Preferr captures basic demographic information at the time of the request and will retain this information for future referrals. Once your referral request is submitted, status can be monitored from Preferr. Providers will indicate if there is a delay with the referral and when it is complete.

As a provider subscribing to Preferr you will also receive referral requests for existing and new patients by any other provider that also subscribes to Preferr. The Preferr platform allows for immediate receipt of requests which will contain all relevant demographic information, referral details including patient health history your facility established along with an electronically faxed order and patient records as available. If there are any issues or concerns related to the request, secure messaging enabled by Preferr can be used to communicate status and/or questions to the referring physician, allowing complete transparency of the process.
